The event is part of the seventh ‘Red journey’ program, a large-scale blood donation promotion campaign of cities and provinces across Vietnam. Tran Quoc Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, said Ho Chi Minh city has always been the pioneer in the voluntary blood donation movement with numerous activities all around the city. More than 170,000 blood units have been donated during this year’s ‘Red journey’ campaign, which went through 46 cities and provinces nationwide.
