(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s permanent mission to the UN has opened a reception to lobby for Vietnamese Ambassador to Kuwait, Nguyen Hong Thao, in his bid for International Law Committee’s membership.

In the reception, head of the mission, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, briefed participants about the Vietnamese candidate and his 40 years of experience in diplomatic and international laws. Ambassador Thao hailed Vietnam’s experience in poverty reduction and sustainable growth and listed his priorities in collecting legal materials in law enforcement in the Asia Pacific and dispute settlement by peaceful means if he was elected.
