Vietnamese Youth and Students’ Association in the US debuts

(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Youth and Students’ Association in the US has made its debut in the city of Boston. Nearly 500 students representing more than 16,000 Vietnamese students in the US attended the inauguration ceremony. Huynh The Du, President of the Association says: “The association has planned long-term and practical activities. First, we will try to connect all Vietnamese students in the US to help them make the most of their talent and promote the spirit of mutual assistance.”

Vietnamese ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Cuong says: “This is the first time that a Vietnamese Youth and Students’ Association has been established in the US. This important event marks the development of Vietnamese students’ associations in different states in the US. This will be a common house for the students to meet and support one another.”
