With intellect, resilience and a strong spirit of dedication, Petrovietnam’s young staff have delivered remarkable innovative achievements, contributing to the Group’s steady progress toward becoming a leading regional energy corporation while advancing its goals of green, sustainable development and comprehensive digital transformation.
From offshore drilling platforms to central control rooms, from high-tech laboratories to renewable energy projects, Petrovietnam youth have left their imprints everywhere.
With an unwavering spirit of creativity, hundreds of initiatives and technical improvements initiated by the young staff have been effectively applied in production management, process optimization, cost reduction and labor productivity enhancement.
Many youth-led solutions have become exemplary models for the entire sector, notably online operation monitoring systems, AI-based oil and gas field simulation software, and digital data management applications for equipment maintenance.

These achievements demonstrate young people’s mastery of technology, professionalism, and scientific research capacity in the context of global integration.
The movement “Creative Youth – Young people pioneer in innovation to enhance productivity and business efficiency,” launched by the Petrovietnam Youth Union, has become a key driving force in the Group’s digital transformation process.
In the 2022–2025 period, young employees of the Group submitted nearly 2,850 research topics, initiatives and creative ideas. Nearly 980 youth-led projects at various levels were officially recognized, including 12 outstanding projects at the central level.
Twenty-three individuals were awarded the title of “Outstanding young skilled worker at the national level,” and numerous projects receiving the “National youth innovation award.”
The Group’s Youth Union organized nearly 270 forums, seminars and workshops to promote innovation and share knowledge and technological solutions among member units.

These impressive figures reflect the sustained creativity of a new generation of young engineers and scientists, and vividly illustrate the spirit of “Aspiration – Courage – Creativity – Efficiency” that young Petrovietnam staff continue to uphold across all tasks.
As digital transformation and technology application reflect a pioneering mindset, the deployment of research and initiatives in production and business operations measure the true values of innovation movements across the Group. Innovation research does not simply exist on paper but is “tested by fire” in the industry’s demanding working environment.
Initiatives and research projects by the Youth Union members have all been applied in operations, generating economic benefits worth tens of millions of USD for the Group each year.
Statistics show that within one term, youth-led projects and initiatives helped save nearly 18 million USD in production costs and shortened construction schedules and equipment maintenance time by 20–30%. Many projects have been applied across multiple units, creating a clear ripple effect throughout the Group’s production and business chain.

These visible results show that innovation among Petrovietnam youth has penetrated production and delivered concrete and measurable benefits. Each initiative has solved a techno-economic problem and has taken steady steps toward enhancing Petrovietnam’s competitiveness.
Beyond modernizing operational processes, initiatives by Petrovietnam’s young employees embody strong humanistic values and a commitment to sustainable development, such as clean energy management systems, the “Green – Clean – Beautiful Enterprise” model, and a program to plant more than 615,000 trees as part of the Group’s emissions reduction commitments.
With a proactive, creative and pioneering spirit, Petrovietnam youth are emerging as a core force in the digital transformation and innovation drive of Vietnam’s energy sector, helping to shape a new generation of engineers and scientists who are professionally competent, digitally skilled and socially responsible—fully deserving of the trust placed in them by the Group’s Party Committee, leadership and generations of petroleum employees known as “the fire seekers.”
