Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the event which is themed “Hai Phong reaching out to the sea”. The festival is an opportunity for the city to promote its image, potential and attraction. In his address, Chairman of Hai Phong’s People Committee Nguyen Van Tung highlighted the port city’s rapid development with a modern infrastructure system. The city has become an attractive tourism and investment destination while local people’s living conditions have improved remarkably.
