In Hanoi, the Hoan Kiem Lake area and Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square became lively hubs of sporting activities, drawing tens of thousands of residents, youth union members, schoolchildren and university students. Participants took part in walking, running and a variety of sports, while also having the opportunity to interact with national team athletes, learn sporting techniques and try out different activities.
Over the two days, the Vietnam Sports Hospital conducted health screenings for more than 2,500 people and provided consultations to over 750 others on nutrition, cardiovascular health, musculoskeletal conditions and injury prevention.
Under the motto “One Nation in Motion, a Healthy Vietnam,” the campaign encouraged people of all ages to take up at least one sport suited to their abilities, interests and circumstances, and make regular physical activity a lasting part of their daily lives.
