25th anniversary of Vietnam-Rok diplomatic ties marked in Hanoi

Addressing the event, Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Lee Huyk hailed the tremedous development in bilateral ties over the past 25 years. According to Ambassador Lee, the Republic of Korea has become Vietnam’s biggest foreign investor with a total capital of nearly 60 billion USD. He added that Vietnam is currently the Republic of Korea’s 4^th largest trade partner in Southeast Asia.

Ambassador Lee insisted that the two countries can expand cooperation in various areas, especially trade, adding that many cultural similarities between Vietnam and RoK will help strengthen friendly exchanges between the two peoples.
