Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, head of the department of value added tax policy and special consumption, said Vietnam needs to build a roadmap and upgrade infrastructure and IT to help businesses take advantage of e-invoice.
"Tax agiencies have always supported taxpayers in dealing with errors in applying e-invoices with confirmation codes," she said, adding that "we have been continuously upgrading the current e-invoice system. The IT Bureau has sent officers to businesses to support them in using e-invoices.”
E-invoice is considered an efficient approach to boost productivity in Vietnam. Using e-invoices will reduce half the cost of using paper ones.
