He made the remarks on Sunday while meeting with Hanoi voters ahead of the National Assembly’s year-end session.
“Officials must listen to the people and understand their concerns. If citizens’ feedback is valid, it must be addressed. If there are misunderstandings, they must be clearly explained. And any commitments made to the people must be fulfilled thoroughly and effectively,” said Mr. Lam.
At the meeting, voters praised the country’s achievements in socio-economic development and foreign affairs, while raising a number of issues affecting their daily lives, including land management, urban planning, education, healthcare, transportation, environmental protection, and food safety.
