This year’s event brought together more than 300 contestants from 66 countries and territories, who competed in theoretical exams, team events, telescopic observations, data analysis, and planetarium-based tests.
Vu Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee, told the closing ceremony that taking part in the IOAA was “a milestone to be proud of.”
“The experiences gained during the exams, the lessons learned from peers, and the personal limits surpassed are all valuable assets for the journey ahead. May you maintain your confidence, continue learning, and steadfastly pursue the scientific path you have chosen,” said Ha.
IOAA Secretary General Natasa Dragovic praised Vietnam’s efforts in hosting a competition that will leave lasting impressions and unforgettable experiences for all participants.
