APEC 2017: English training for traffic officers in Da Nang

(VOVWORLD) - An English training course for traffic officers at B or higher levels open in Da Nang on Monday in preparation for APEC Economic Leaders’ week in November 2017.

The course, organized by the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with the People's Police Academy, aims to enable traffic officers to communicate with foreigners during the event. The course is taught by foreign teachers. “Many foreigners will show up during APEC Economic Leaders’ week in Da Nang, which will require traffic police to be able to communicate in English. In addition to English courses, we are organizing driver training for officers who will escort APEC delegations,” said Colonel Le Ngoc, head of the Traffic Police Department in Da Nang.
