The contest is open to both Vietnamese citizens and foreign nationals living and working in Vietnam, with no limit on the number of entries each participant may submit.

Entries should creatively convey the spirit of APEC as a mechanism for promoting cooperation, resilience, economic connectivity, and shared prosperity across the Asia-Pacific region, while also reflecting Vietnam’s rich cultural identity, innovation, and dynamic development.

All designs must incorporate the phrase “APEC VIET NAM 2027” and must not include images of the national flag, national emblem, or map.

“The contest will inspire creativity, responsibility, and national pride among the Vietnamese people, encouraging them to contribute to promoting the country’s image. The winning entry will not only represent APEC 2027 but will also become a memorable symbol of Vietnam in the eyes of international friends,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang, who also heads the APEC 2027 Communications and Culture Subcommittee.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong highlighted the broader significance of the contest, “We hope that each entry will not only meet artistic and practical requirements but also embody the spirit of APEC, reflect Vietnam’s cultural identity, and showcase the country’s aspirations for development, innovation, and international integration in this new era.”

The organizing committee will award one first prize worth 1,900 USD. The submission deadline is August 25.
