The program will feature songs and documentaries which revive the historical period 100 year ago. VOV President Nguyen The Ky said: "Many cultural similarities between Vietnam and Russia despite the geographical distance have brought the two peoples closer. President Ho Chi Minh and many other Vietnamese leaders studied in the Soviet Union."
He added: "During war time, many Vietnamese young people joined the Soviet Red Army and lay down their lives. Soviet experts and financial assistance contributed to Vietnam’s victory in the resistance war against foreign invaders. We’ll never forget it."
