Trade Counselor of Vietnam in China Dao Viet Anh said China currently is the 8th biggest foreign direct investor in Vietnam, adding that two-way trade totaled 100 billion USD last year, up 23.4 percent. He revealed that China and Vietnam will boost collaboration in high-tech, agriculture, aquaculture, food, and construction in the next 2 years.

Delegates released a “Beijing proposal” and signed a memorandum of understanding which boosts information exchanges on economy, trade, investment, technology, and science while jointly implementing the China–ASEAN regional free trade agreement.
