The Summit assesses achievements, identifies challenges, and proposes new, breakthrough cooperation directions, especially in energy security and Eurasian economic integration.

Leaders also engage in in-depth discussions on regional and global issues of common concern, aiming to strengthen strategic trust and enhance coordinated responses to challenges on the basis of international law. Simultaneously, the Summit is expected to adopt important documents, shaping a new cooperation framework suitable to the development needs of both sides.

Taking place until Friday, the event features numerous high-level discussions and bilateral forums aimed at enhancing understanding, expanding economic and trade cooperation, and consolidating regional peace and stability. The Summit reiterates the highest-level political commitment of ASEAN and Russia to their Strategic Partnership, as well as ASEAN's centrality in the Asia-Pacific and Russia's growing position globally.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung is leading the high-level Vietnamese delegation to the Summit and conducting bilateral activities on the sidelines. The Prime Minister's participation demonstrates Vietnam's commitment to making a practical contribution to the overall success, playing a "bridging" role in reaching consensus and creating new momentum for ASEAN-Russia relations.
