The trio of shooters Trinh Thu Vinh, Nguyen Thuy Trang, and Bui Thuy Thu Thuy scored a combined 1,719 points to finish third in the women's team 10m air pistol event, trailing behind China and South Korea.
Martial artist Duong Thuy Vi won a bronze medal in the women's Jianshu (sword) and Qiangshu (spear) events, scoring 9.703 points and 9.710 points respectively, which marks the third ASIAD medal of Vi’s career.
In Sanshou (Chinese kickboxing), Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy (women's 60kg), Hua Van Doan (men's 60kg), and Nguyen Khac Kien (men's 65kg) all exited in the semi-finals, each claiming a bronze medal.
After the fourth day of competition, the Vietnamese athletes won a total of one gold and eight bronze medals, ranking 20th on the ASIAD 20 medal table.
