Developed by Oxalis Company at Cat Tien National Park, the tour is a four-day, three-night program limited to a maximum of four guests per group. Participants travel with rangers through more than 3,200 hectares of forest, learning to identify animal tracks, check for potential trap locations, and use cameras to monitor wildlife. They also spend one night sleeping in hammocks at a forest campsite.

The winners are scheduled to be announced at an awards ceremony in London on November 2. Projects are evaluated based on their contributions to the destination, with a focus on environmental factors, community impact, and sustainable tourism development.

Located across Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces, Cat Tien National Park is one of Vietnam’s areas of high biodiversity. Its tropical forest and wetland ecosystems are home to numerous rare wildlife species. The park is part of the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve, which has been recognized by UNESCO.

The International Tourism Awards is an annual event organized by the BGTW, which has presented the awards since 1978. Projects are nominated by BGTW members based on firsthand experience and selected through a voting process.
