Mr. Zhao made the remarks at a meeting on Tuesday with Vietnamese National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man as part of Mr. Man’s official visit to China and co-chairing of the second meeting of the Cooperation Committee between the Vietnamese NA and the National People’s Congress of China (NPC).
NA President Man called for stronger cooperation between Shaanxi and Vietnamese localities in science and technology, energy, high-tech agriculture, transport, especially railways, human resources, culture and tourism. He also urged Hung Yen province of Vietnam and Shaanxi to strengthen investment and cooperation, setting an example for other localities in the two countries.
