According to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, there is growing evidence of the health costs of climate change, which threatens clean air, safe drinking water, nutritious food and safe shelter – the basic human needs. Climate change is threatening the global health gains of recent years, the report said.
