The event aims to expand international connectivity, promote cross-border investment cooperation, and help develop strategic technology sectors like AI, semiconductors, blockchain, green technology, and digital transformation.
First held in 2016, the festival has become a forum government agencies, businesses, investors, research institutes, and the startup communities to promote cooperation and mobilize innovation resources at home and abroad.
Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh told the event, “the Ministry of Science and Technology will work alongside Da Nang to remove institutional bottlenecks, connect the city with experts, research institutes, universities, technology companies, investment funds, as well as advanced innovation ecosystems around the world.”
Da Nang announced its international certification from StartupBlink, a global startup ecosystem map and research center, hosted the signing of several memoranda of understanding, launched new investment funds, and organized forums on how to foster tech unicorns and bring Da Nang businesses reach global markets.
