Joining FC4S during the center's initial formation stage is expected to enable VIFC-DN to access international expertise, standards, and best practices of green and sustainable finance, as well as expand connections with international financial centers, financial institutions, and investors.

Established in late 2025, VIFC-DN aims to become a next-generation financial center focusing on fintech, green finance, and trade finance.

UN Assistant Secretary-General Marcos Athias Neto said Vietnam is a key partner for the UNDP. Moving forward, the two sides will actively implement the Country Program for the 2027–2031 period, focusing on four priorities: climate change response and environmental protection; economic and digital transformation; inclusive human development; and governance and the rule of law.
