With the theme “Legends of Bridges,” participating teams will be telling different stories about well-known bridges through spectacular performances. On Han River Bridge, artists from Poland impress the audience with magnificent high-altitude firework displays. The next shows are slated for May 26, June 2 and June 9 and feature performances from France and the U.S., Italy, Chinese Hong Kong, Sweden and Portugal, before the final round and closing ceremony by the end of June.

Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee, Huynh Duc Tho, said after 8 organization rounds, the festival has been a leading Asian cultural event: “This year’s fireworks festival narrates stories about culture, history and tradition as well as magnificent architectural works from the 8 participating teams and their homeland. They will serve as bridges connecting friendship, peace and future.”
