In the first half of 2026, international arrivals totaled 78,500 and total tourism revenue was estimated at 360 million USD, the Department said in its report presented at the seminar.

Nguyen Le Vu, Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized the seminar's importance in shaping the province's tourism brand.

"Insights gained from this conference will empower localities to take the initiative in creating their own tourism products. What matters most is what we offer visitors, and what visitors take away with them after their trip. This enables localities to be more proactive in developing their destinations," Vu said.

At the seminar, Le Quoc Vinh, a destination development expert and Chairman of CSMO Vietnam, suggested, "Simply listing existing features or attractions will only appeal to specific segments. If we can weave these elements into a compelling narrative that offers visitors a unique experience in Dak Lak, they will perceive the value it adds to their lives. That is precisely what tourists and tourism professionals look for."
