The film festival themed “A bridge from Asia to the world” is organized by the Da Nang People's Committee and the Vietnam Film Development Association.
Running until July 4, DANAFF will feature 21 films in the Asian Cinema Panorama program and 26 works in the Vietnamese Films Today program. It is not just a cinematic event, but also holds tremendous significance in building the cultural brand of Da Nang, according to Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee.
“We believe that, through the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival, Da Nang will continue to be a destination for cultural, artistic, and cinematic events. It will make a positive contribution to the deeper integration of Vietnamese cinema in the region and the world,” Thi said.
During the film festival, there will be international seminars on Vietnamese cinema in the đổi mới (renewal) period; the application of artificial intelligence, digital technology and the protection of intellectual property rights in cinema; and models of film industry development in the United States.
