Alexei Kuznetsov, an aide to the Russian health minister, told RIA Novosti on Monday that 28 people injured in the attack, including one child, have been admitted to local hospitals.

The Russian Defense Ministry said air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 456 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The drones were shot down over the territories of Bryansk, Kaluga, Tula, Belgorod, Voronezh, Saratov, Orenburg, the Moscow Region, and the Republic of Tatarstan.

At least 5 people were killed Monday in a Russian artillery strike on the residential area of Buhaivka, in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, the regional prosecutor’s office said. According to Ukrainian site Ukrinform, drones struck gas stations, an industrial facility, and a private home.

The fires caused by the attacks were extinguished by units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force, meanwhile, claimed it shot down or suppressed 92 UAVs.
