Speaking to the workers, the Deputy Prime Minister praised their hard working, creativity, and contributions to national development. He called for better care for workers’ life: “The Party Committees and local administrations at all levels, enterprises and trade union organizations need to improve trade union activities at the grassroots level, promote social welfare programs, and do more to protect workers’ legitimate rights and interests. We need to ensure that everyone will enjoy a happy Tet.”
To mark the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister presented gifts to 100 disadvantaged workers in the province.
