Following an emergency meeting on Tuesday, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called on the international community to support efforts to contain the outbreak. As response teams raced to keep pace with the spread of the disease, Mr. Ghebreyesus acknowledged that the situation will be difficult to control.
