From June 23 through August 8, a total of 245 sets of remains had been recovered in the area.
Also on August 8, a delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, led by Deputy Minister Phan Thi Thang, visited and encouraged the forces carrying out the search and recovery mission at Le Thi Rieng Park.
Le Thi Rieng Park is currently the site of an operation to search for the remains of fallen soldiers, revolutionary cadres and servicemen who died during the 1968 Spring General Offensive and Uprising.
The search and recovery operation will continue with a sense of urgency, thoroughness and responsibility.
