Under the amended Customs Law, organizations and individuals in Vietnam who buy or sell goods with foreign parties through e-commerce platforms will be required to complete electronic identification and authentication procedures.
The amended Petroleum Law focuses on expanding decentralization for petroleum enterprises, including Petrovietnam, while introducing investment incentives, promoting high-value technical services, supporting energy value chains and offshore energy development, and establishing a legal framework for emissions reduction, carbon capture, and carbon storage.
Meanwhile, the amended Law on Dissemination and Education of Laws includes several new provisions, including the application of digital transformation technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in legal education and public awareness activities.
