Natural gas and soybean top the list of products President Trump said he wanted to export more to the EU in last month’s meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude Junker. Experts say Mr. Trump is using import tariffs to force concessions from the EU.
The US and the EU officials will meet on August 20 to discuss de-escalation of retaliatory import tariffs.
