According to the municipal Statistics Office, the city attracted 8.2 billion USD in registered FDI in 2025. During the first half of this year, registered foreign investment reached 6.8 billion USD, an increase of 114%year on year.
Vietnam's largest economic hub is now home to more than 14,000 FDI enterprises. Although they account for less than 5% of all businesses in the city, they generated 146 billion USD in net revenue last year, contributing 31% of the city's total business revenue.
FDI enterprises employ 1.6 million workers, underscoring their vital role in manufacturing, processing, and manufacturing, as well as supporting industries and business services.
