Over the course of two working days, participants are scheduled to review and discuss 17 draft laws to be submitted to the National Assembly at its second session next month.
Following the opening ceremony this morning, full-time deputies will discuss and provide input on draft laws concerning the economy and finance. They include the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Securities; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Accounting and the Law on Independent Audit; and the draft Law on Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Development.
They will also address draft laws in the security sector, specifically the draft Law on Protection of Important Works Related to National Security, the draft Law on Data Security, and the draft Law on Electronic Identification and Authentication.
In the afternoon, deputies will discuss draft laws regarding science, technology, and the environment. They include the draft revised Law on Marine and Island Resources and Environment; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Electricity; and the draft revised Law on Postal Services.
Subsequently, on Tuesday, deputies will discuss draft laws in the fields of administration and justice, as well as those concerning culture and social affairs. These are the draft laws to be considered by the National Assembly during its second session, which is scheduled to open on October 17 and close on November 20.
During the session, the National Assembly is expected to consider passing 43 laws and normative resolutions, provide initial feedback on two draft bills, and conduct oversight and make decisions on important matters within its jurisdiction.
