The visit by the Permanent Member of the Secretariat and the inaugural Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue hold pivotal significance across strategic, political, and substantive dimensions, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Tran Phuoc Anh.
The two sides will engage in in-depth discussions on issues such as national development orientations, state-building, economic development, social governance, and cadre training, as well as regional and global developments.
The trip serves not only as a significant diplomatic event but also as a starting point for the two nations to build a “new-generation strategic partnership”—one characterized by deeper political ties, broader cooperation, and more substantive benefits, he said.
