China remains the primary destination for Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports, accounting for 63% of the sector’s total export value.
The US and South Korea were the next two largest markets. Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable exports to China increased 39% in the first 8 months of 2026, while exports to the US rose 18% and exports to South Korea 10%.
Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports to the EU have seen strong growth, driven by a strong market shift toward processed tropical fruits.
