The upcoming ceremony will be the first major K-pop event held at the venue and will feature a special outdoor stage.

The Vietnam Exposition Center has previously hosted major concerts, including V Concert, which drew around 25,000 people, and 8 Wonder Concert, with a capacity of up to 50,000.

Hanoi will become the eighth city outside South Korea to host the Golden Disc Awards and the first Vietnamese city to stage the event.

As part of its international journey, the awards have been held in major Asian cities including Osaka and Fukuoka in Japan, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Bangkok, Jakarta and, most recently, Taipei, which hosted the 40th Golden Disc Awards.

The Golden Disc Awards are known for their star-studded line-ups, spectacular stages and distinctive performances.
