The deadline was set by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung at a conference in Hanoi on Tuesday on the National Digital Architecture Framework, Version 1.0. He said digital transformation should be regarded as a key task and implemented in a substantive, coordinated and effective manner.

“The central government establishes the architecture, standards, platforms and shared components, while local authorities take the initiative in implementation based on their own conditions and needs,” said Deputy PM Dung.

Agencies across the political system must clearly define their responsibilities while ensuring connectivity, interoperability and data sharing, and jointly use shared components in accordance with the National Digital Architecture Framework, he noted.

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, Version 1.0 of the National Digital Architecture Framework has been established as a unified framework at the national level. It consists of four layers: shared digital infrastructure and cybersecurity; data and core platforms; shared applications and interaction channels; and performance measurement.
