The city aims to complete the screenings of 2.2 million students at 4,700 schools in Hanoi by next Friday, one day before the start of the new school year.

Nearly 170 medical facilities have been mobilized for the campaign. They will create and update health records and share the data with the city’s electronic health record system and the Ministry of Health.

“The Department of Health and local authorities are working with qualified medical facilities to provide health check-ups at schools, making it easier for students and parents. We are committed to ensuring that the check-ups meet Ministry of Health standards,” Deputy Director of the municipal Health Department Vu Cao Cuong said.
