The festival will feature discussions, workshops, exhibitions, street jazz performances, and jam sessions exploring the connections between jazz, cultural spaces, and Vietnamese musical elements.
“We’re bringing jazz closer to the public through a wide range of activities and venues across Hanoi. The festival has invited foreign artists to Vietnam to collaborate with local musicians. We’re creating opportunities for Vietnamese artists to learn from international experts,” said musician Duong Cam, General Director of Hanoi Jazztival 2026.
The festival will be held at venues throughout the city, including the Music Garden at the Hanoi Opera House, the Octagonal House at Ly Thai To Park, the Thang Long Music and Dance Theater, and local jazz clubs.
Hanoi Jazztival, which will conclude on Saturday, aims to become an annual event that enriches the capital’s cultural landscape, promotes international exchanges, expands the audience for the arts, and strengthens links between music, tourism, and Vietnam’s cultural industries.
