Passengers can use either physical chip-embedded transit cards or virtual cards via the "Thẻ vé giao thông HN" (Hanoi Transit Card) app to purchase and use time-based integrated passes—including daily, weekly, and monthly passes, as well as free-travel passes—valid across the entire subsidized bus network and the two aforementioned urban railway lines.
Notably, the price of the integrated monthly pass is 40% lower than the combined cost of purchasing separate monthly passes for the bus network and the two urban railway lines.
Also starting September 1, Hanoi Metro is launching a combined monthly pass for the metro and TNGo public bicycle service via the Hanoi Metro app. Passengers can purchase the pass and access both services simultaneously through a single application.
TNGo public bicycle stations are located at Cat Linh, La Thanh, Lang, Thuong Dinh, Van Khe, and Cau Giay stations, facilitating convenient connections between the metro stations and the starting or ending points of passengers' journeys.
