The top leader, who also heads Inspection and Supervision Team No. 218 of the Political Bureau, chaired a meeting held in Hanoi to adopt a draft report on the results of the third inspection and supervision round of the municipal Party Committee’s Standing Board.
Hanoi is entering a new phase of development with higher demands, the General Secretary and President said, adding every decision regarding personnel impacts the city's development capacity and the public image of the administrative apparatus.
He directed Hanoi to improve the quality of planning, training, talent sourcing, and cadre rotation to meet the capital's long-term development needs. Furthermore, the city must effectively implement mechanisms to attract and value talent. Following this meeting, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee is to continue coordinating to finalize the report and address identified shortcomings without waiting for the official conclusion.
