The teams compete in a 7-a-side format, with 6 players and 1 goalkeeper. Following the group stage, the 5 group winners and the best-performing group runner-up advance to the quarter-finals. The remaining 4 group runners-up will compete for the 2 remaining spots via a play-off round, after which the tournament proceeds to the knockout stages: the quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place play-off, and the final.

The tournament will feature 20 teams representing international communities and expatriates living, studying, and working in Vietnam. Participating teams are from four continents: Asia (Vietnam—the host nation, Japan, China, and South Korea), Europe (the Republic of Ireland, England, Russia, Spain, France, Denmark, Italy, and a combined European team), the Americas (Brazil, Mexico, Cuba, and a Latin American team), and Africa (South Africa, Ghana, Algeria, and Nigeria).

The champions will receive a prize of 60 million VND (2,300 USD), an official 3D trophy, and gold medals. The runners-up will receive 30 million VND (1,150 USD) and silver medals, while the third-place team will be awarded 15 million VND (579 USD) and bronze medals.
