Hau Giang hosts conference on high-quality rice production chain

(VOVWORLD) -A conference to promote a high-quality rice production chain was held in Hau Giang province on Wednesday as part of a series of provincial investment promotion activities.

Speakers at the conference on promoting high-quality rice chain toward sustainability in Hau Giang province

Participants examined rice production in the Mekong Delta and Hau Giang province in particular, analyzed the need to breed high-quality rice varieties, and proposed measures to ensure food safety and increase income for farmers. They also discussed recommendations to promote sustainable rice production and organic farming to adapt to climate change.
