HCM City leader hosts Chief Minister of Australia’s Northern Territory

(VOVWORLD) - The freshly-signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam and Australia’s Northern Territory will promote their economic and trade ties.

At Friday’s reception to Chief Minister of Australia’s Northern Territory Michael Gunner in HCMC, Le Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, said he hopes the Northern Territory will share its experience in high-tech agriculture and create conditions for the city’s agricultural products to access Australia’s farm produce market.

Mr. Gunner spoke highly of Vietnam’s potential for development, saying Australia has worked to promote cooperation with Vietnam in economics, education, tourism, and people-to-people diplomacy.
