The city also launched two other technology initiatives: a database of birth and death records to simplify administrative procedures, and a rapid-response team to help residents register deaths at home through the city’s 1022 hotline.
“These three initiatives, with more to follow, were created to serve our residents. They are, first and foremost, people-centered. We have integrated metro, bus, and other forms of public transport into the app and will soon integrate long-distance buses, trains, flights, and even ride-hailing services,” said Colonel Ngo Xuan Tho, Head of the Division for Administrative Management of Social Order under Ho Chi Minh City Police.
