While receiving ENZ Chief Executive Grant McPherson on Friday, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem said the two countries’ bilateral ties are developing in all fields, especially in education and training. He hailed New Zealand’s decision to offer scholarships to Vietnamese high school students, saying this allows Vietnamese students to access New Zealand’s education, which is among top of the world.
Mr. Grant McPherson said New Zealand highly appreciated HCMC leaders’ interest in boosting cooperation in education and training, adding that he expected more local support to enhance bilateral ties.
