This group includes around 900 agents from Indonesia-based insurance company Allianz. This is the first large-scale international MICE group to benefit from HCMC’s new support policy as part of the city's strategy to attract high-spending visitors. They will stay in Ho Chi Minh City for three days and spend one day in My Tho in Dong Thap Province to experience the local culture.

The tour, organized by Viking Travel Vietnam, will help visitors experience each region's unique characteristics. A company representative said they will continue to hold travel programs with plans to visit Hoi An and Da Nang.

Tran Xuan Hung, Managing Director at Viking Travel Vietnam, said: “This new policy will help attract more MICE tourists to Ho Chi Minh City, especially with benefits like VIP welcome services at the airport, priority lane for immigration procedures, 20% discounts on tickets to attractions, and grants for for organizing conferences. This is the most comprehensive support policy we have ever seen in Vietnam.”
