The event brought together representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka, leaders of Hue City, as well as businesses and representatives from Japanese localities.
Stronger links between localities will enable both sides to develop cooperation programs that address practical needs and deliver tangible benefits to people and businesses, according to the Deputy FM.
“Hue boasts unique advantages, including its cultural heritage, the Chan May-Lang Co port, its location along the East-West Economic Corridor and the North-South transport axis, and high-quality education and healthcare systems. The city has laid a foundation for developing tourism, logistics, industry, the green economy and the digital economy, while attracting strategic investors, including Japanese businesses,” Mr. Tuan said.
Through the conference, Hue city hopes to expand connections with Japanese localities, organizations and businesses and promote specific cooperation programs in investment, education and training, healthcare, science and technology, and human resource development.
