The situation in St.Martin and St. Barts is dramatic - there is no drinking water or electricity, public buildings are unusable, and houses have been destroyed. They estimate that some 60% to 70% of the houses have been destroyed in St Martin.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne of Antigua and Barbuda said Barbuda right is literally in rubble after Irma blasted through, packing devastating winds and rain. The storm has killed at least three people, destroyed government buildings, tore roofs from houses and left many islands without power or communications.
