During its ongoing 70th General Conference in Vienna, Austria, the IAEA adopted a resolution called "Implementation of the NPT Safeguards Agreement between the Agency and the DPRK" by a vote of 103 for, 6 against, and 14 abstaining.
The resolution said the DPRK's nuclear activities "continue to be a cause of serious concern" and called on the government to halt all such activities and comply with UN Security Council resolutions.
The IAEA has repeatedly expressed concerns over the DPRK's nuclear weapons program in annual resolutions, but Pyongyang has not participated in IAEA inspection mechanisms since 2009.
