“The establishment of new centrally run cities, together with a range of special policies on economics, finance, planning, and land management, will provide an innovative legal framework that enables them to achieve a higher level of development,” said Deputy Nguyen Manh Hung of Can Tho City.
Deputy Nguyen Thi Thu Ha of Quang Ninh Province said that major infrastructure projects, particularly Ring Road No. 5 linking Hanoi with six surrounding provinces and cities, would strengthen regional connectivity and facilitate the movement of goods.
She noted that the establishment of Quang Ninh as a centrally run city would create new momentum for the locality to capitalize on its existing strengths and contribute more significantly to regional and national development.
“Provincial leaders are carefully reviewing every aspect of the preparation process to shape our future development, including infrastructure, human resources, and high-end tourism. We will continue taking proactive steps to build momentum for the next stage of growth,” said Ha.
